Hanna Lizbeth's Page
When we found out we had our assignment to RAF Mildenhall we were glad and yet had a heavy heart because one member of our family members would not be able to join us. Chelsie our wonderful Miniature Schnauzer of 10 years would not becoming to the UK with us. Before you go nuts and wonder how we could leave our puppy behind, understand that Great Britain has a very harsh 6-month quarantine on imported pets to protect against rabies. With a 1/3 mortality rate we just could not put our puppy through that. She is vacationing with friends in CA and in a very loving dog friendly home. Me miss her a bunch. Still in our home (a dawgs home) we were feeling quiet empty without a puppy to love so we found our little Hanna...
New Puppies Hanna Puppy
Finding a Mini in the UK turned out to a very difficult task. After 30 phone calls of disappointment, success came with this litter born 03 Oct 01 to Daisy, the wonderful 2 year old “Mommy." The Daddy "Check Point Charlie" or Lenny as they call him is owned by Peter Newman a well respected author/expert on Schnauzers. He gave me the lead on finding Hanna and we thank him very much. Hanna's daddy is featured on page 111 of this book.
Anthony and Hanna, after seeing the litter we wanted to have them all. They are so cute and lovable.

Jessica and Puppies
Michele holding Hanna...she had to be the first one. And to think when I first wanted to get Chelsie 10 years ago she consider herself not a dog person. The Schnauzer breed has won her over...they are great dogs.
Eyes have it....
Jessica playing with the puppies. She had one of them dancing with her fingers...it was so cute. We thought of a new movie for Hollywood “Dancing with Schnauzers.” Starring Hanna Lizbeth.
Daisy and her pups
Although this is not Hanna, this little bundle of fir walked right over to me, asked to get petted, then rolled right over on her back. I was tempted to stick her in my coat and make a run for the border. Look at those eyes.
Another photo of Daisy and her 6 puppies (5 girls and 1 boy). All Schnauzers are black when they are born and turn silver or salt and pepper when they get older. What a wonderful bunch...
