Warwick Castle
Anthony's school held a field trip to Warwick Castle, so Michele and I tagged along.  The origins of Warwick Castle can be traced back to the Saxon fortification which Ethelfleda, daughter of Alfred the great used to defend against the invading Danes.  Dating back to 1068, under the command of William the Conqueror and home to successive Earls of Warwick during the 14th Century.  Today owned by the Tussaud's group is an impressive site to see.

Another view from inside the castle...seen here would have been the main living quarters of the Earl of Warwick and his family before selling in 1978 to the Tussaud's group.   Today you can see fully restored show rooms taking you back in time.

Anthony boy is in trouble here
One of the rooms on display is the great hall which has on display numerous armor suits dating back to the time of the knights.
Knight on a horse
Another of the rooms on display was the dungeon...guess who got in trouble.   Spokey being in the same place where years before people were brought to death...
