First HRC visit and first military TDY,
loved the HRC although surprised how small the place was. My
second visit, my wife surprised me with birthday desert. Our third
visit was on Christmas eve when we took in a play in London, I picked up
two new pins as well. |

seeing the falls from the US side and I was very surprised at how pretty
and breath taking it was...if you have not seen the falls from this
perspective give it a try and stop by the HRC..."tell them Brian sent

Went to this one with my great friend
George, who I just met that day, after e-mailing for better part of 3
years. "Power toured" NYC seeing all the sights in one day including the WTC before Sept 11th. |

Although I hate Baltimore (Go
Browns) I
loved the setting in the old power station building along the Inner
Harbor. We visited this one on Sept 12, 2001, place was empty and
very quiet... We only went there because we did not want UBL to stop us
from doing what we do... GOD Speed to NYC, D.C. and PA. |

Before being stationed in England I would have never dreamed
of visiting the HRC's of Europe, but during an overnight (12 hours) layover in
Amsterdam I got to visit my 20th HRC. This HRC was one of the
biggest I visted with a cool multi-colored U-2 car hanging upside down in
the entry way. |

On our first EU family get a way, we visited the "City Of Love"
and the HRC Paris... Finding the cafe turned out to be a bit of a chore...but well
worth it. Awesome picture of me and a "Hard Rock Chick"... |

My second trip to Germany but my first where I was going to
have a chance to stop by a HRC. Wish I could tell ya it was worth
the visit, but this HRC "SUCKED." It was a HRC in name
only...no guitars, no outfits, no rock collection at all...I understand
the whole franchise thing but some quality control needs to be in effect. |

What a better way to ROCK in the new year then to visit the
biggest New Eves Party in the UK "Hogmanay" and visit to the
HRC. This HRC was
well worth the visit, cool stain glass greeting you, and tons of cool
stuff hanging on the wall. I even spotted a small display featuring
the band I loved as a kid, the Bay City Rollers Rock. I couldn't help myself
I picked up 3 pins and
joined the all access club. |

Michele and I had a free weekend without the kids so what
better way to spend it then driving to Sherwood Forest with our puppy
Hanna and spending time
in Robin Hood's neck of the woods. And it did not hurt that there
were two HRCs within easy driving distance......the only bummer out of the whole visit was that the cafe did not have any CITY guitar pins...I
was not a happy camper but the manager promises to send me one...(I wrote
the Headquarters). They did have a cool Blues Brother statue to
stand buy... |

On the way home from Sherwood forest we detoured an hour or
so to hit another HRC....got to love Michele she is so easy going
and can get me to any Hard Rock anywhere....again no city pins...I was not
happy, but after expressing my unhappiness to the manager he sold me a
Grand Opening pin. Well that helps but really....Stock City Guitar

While deployed in Support of Operation Iraqi Freedom,
Michele told me she wanted to go to Germany upon my
return. Well can ya guess who came up with the idea of the HARD ROCK
Germany power tour 2003? I've got to say Germany was one of the most beautiful
places to vacation...and three HRCs to boot. Cologne was my
24th.... |

After spending the day and night in Cologne we headed down
the Rhine river visiting the wonderful castles..next stop Stuttgart and
Munich...this hard rock was a little hard to find but what do you expect
when all the street signs are in German and neither Michele or I speak the
language...but we made it. |

Berlin is a city of history and one Awesome HRC...this place
was right around the corner from our hotel...an easy Hard Rock to find
with the Black Caddy sticking out of the building,
that's a first for us.... Our waitress spoke 4 languages which made
ordering our meal a lot easier. A lot of cool KISS up on the
walls...Rock On...we completed our Germany Hard Rock tour visiting 4 Major
cities in Germany in 11 days, over 2500 miles traveled and tons of great
memories. Brian and Michele will ROCK on FOREVER.... |

Back in the USA....visiting family, buying a car, attending
a conference for the US AIR FORCE and visiting my 27th HRC. Housed in a newer building on one of the famous Pittsburgh
rivers, although not being a fan of the steel town (GO
BROWNS), I still had a great
time visiting with my Mom, Sister and her Husband Cliff. Rock on! |

During visit to the HRC web site I saw that a new cafe was
opening, and low and behold it opened the weekend I arrived on
island. This cafe is not much to see on the outside, but it makes up
for this short fall with a modern European look and feel on the inside,
wonderful bar but could use a big American car over the bar, or a local
little Fiat 500 |

soccer game and with an extra hour or two we hit the HRC. Oh
yea The Red Devils won and we almost got in a fight. |
